WEARING LEATHER PANTS means something. It’s primal, it’s sexual, and it means you are ready to rock ’n’ roll and/or break a few hearts. They must be worn with confidence and badness attitude. Think Mick Jagger on stage singing about how he couldn’t get any satisfaction, or Lenny Kravtiz singing about an American woman who won’t let him be. Think Joan Jett, Debbie Harry, Madonna, Janis Joplin. They all wore them and they wore them well, with kick-ass confidence and a badass attitude. Leather pants are an article of clothing for the tough, confident, sexy rock star. There’s a little rocker chick in all of us, so we’d best have the leather pants for those days she feels like breaking out.
